Five Levels of Lighting Design
In the lighting design, the principle of "form obeying function" should be embodied to the maximum extent, and the purpose of lighting design is suggested to be realized through five levels of lighting layout in lighting design process.
Level 1: using lighting to create paths and experiences
Using lighting to create goals, paths and destinations to guide moving lines. For example, installing LED wall lights (BC-BL01, BC-BL02, BC-BL03, BC-BL04, BC-BL 05 and BC-BL06 Series) on the walls of corridors or stairs, people will naturally follow the path of the lights.
Level 2: using light to define emotions and atmosphere
To express emotional colors or to fit the atmosphere of a particular occasion through different lighting intensity, color or spot. For example, in the bedroom installation of AL03, you can choose 3000K color temperature to set off warm and quiet atmosphere, making people feel very relaxed.
Level 3: use light to highlight the point
Use light to attract attention or to improve the contrast between the object and the environment by illuminating the object. If there are masterpieces or decorations on the wall of the living room, you can install one or two spotlights (the number of spotlights depends on the size of the object being illuminated) to make the object more prominent. If it is placed on the table, you can also consider using pendant lights (bc-pd02, bc-pd06, etc., which can adjust the length of the sling according to the height of the object) to make the target object catch people's eyes at once.
Level 4: using light to show architectural details or spatial shape
Lighting the characteristics and details of architectural space to highlight and show the characteristics and forms of structure. The lawn lights (BC-EJ02/03) can be installed beside the green plants outdoors, and different colors of lights can render different characteristics of plants.
Level 5: using lighting to meet the functional requirements
Lighting the work area to achieve the basic lighting function of the space. If there is a working area in the space, it is necessary to provide sufficient illumination for the working surface with lamps such as panel lamp and desk lamp (BC-LM03/LM08).
